A Reading Sanctuary in the Heart of Menteng
The Alinea Éditions reading room occupies a tropical colonial building on Jalan Cikini Raya. Our open shelves hold more than 800 volumes of architecture references, vintage photography monographs, international typography journals, and special editions no longer available in general circulation.
Here visitors can sit for hours at solid teak tables with brass reading lamps, order filter coffee brewed from locally roasted beans, or simply listen to ambient vinyl records turning quietly in the corner of the room.
